Citu team expanding in 2017
2017 promises to be a year to remember for the team behind Little Kelham.
We’ll soon see even more residents move into their new low carbon homes, while 2017 will also see the first businesses relocate to the development.
Meanwhile in Leeds, we are creating the Climate Innovation District, which will be home to the state-of-the-art factory where Citu Houses are manufactured. It’ll also be a hub for research and development and a place where the public can find out more about low carbon, environmentally friendly houses. The Climate Innovation District will also incorporate another large-scale development of over 500 Citu Houses.
At Citu we are also launching a new web-based platform where people can learn about homes and developments and the technology and design which goes into them.
It’s certainly an exciting time, and to help Citu achieve its goal, the talented team is expanding, with 14 newly-created positions currently available and even more in the pipeline.
The roles aren’t just in construction, far from it in fact. The unique way Citu goes about creating homes, neighbourhoods and communities is such that the positions are as varied as they are exciting, from a timber frame designer, to a digital content manager to a property solicitor. There are also positions the commercial and sales departments and for those with a flair for graphics and web development.. Other roles include an estates manager, a design engineer and a projects manager.
So what kind of people are we looking for at Citu? Relevant experience and passion are all well and good, but we look for a number of further qualities in staff – certain traits which are particularly admired, including positivity, courage, responsibility, fairness and honesty. You can find out more about what Citu looks for in its staff here.
If you’d like to find out more about any of the roles, we’d love to hear from you and we’d be happy to have an informal chat. Call 0113-3202357 to speak to someone from the team.
